Notch

Recess milling is used to obtain:
- mortise handles
- cutouts on the plane of the desired shape, required size.

Setting options:

  • side (front/back);
  • notch length (X);
  • notch width (Y);
  • notch center along X;
  • notch center in Y;
  • excavation depth (Z);
  • type of recess (circle, rectangle, rectangle with rounded edges);
  • radius for circles and rectangles with rounded edges.

If the depth of the recess is greater than the thickness of the part , the system will make a through milling cut along the contour and obtain a through hole of the desired shape.

If the depth of the recess is less than the thickness of the material , the recess will be unloaded onto the machine as a milling cut with the required number of passes and overlaps.
