Recess milling is used to obtain:
- mortise handles
- cutouts on the plane of the desired shape, required size.
Setting options:
- side (front/back);
- notch length (X);
- notch width (Y);
- notch center along X;
- notch center in Y;
- excavation depth (Z);
- type of recess (circle, rectangle, rectangle with rounded edges);
- radius for circles and rectangles with rounded edges.
If the depth of the recess is greater than the thickness of the part , the system will make a through milling cut along the contour and obtain a through hole of the desired shape.
If the depth of the recess is less than the thickness of the material , the recess will be unloaded onto the machine as a milling cut with the required number of passes and overlaps.
