Mixed material – material assembled from several parts, different materials.
Mixed material can consist of any number of layers. A layer is a piece without selvedge, possibly stitched together.
Parts can be joined into a composite material if:
- parts without edging;
- pieces of the same size;
- the number of parts is the same;
- pieces belong to the same group or ungrouped;
