Stitching

Stitching (gluing) is the joining of two thin materials to produce a thick part.

Sequence of actions:

1. cutting the front and back parts of the stitching
2. edging the back parts of the stitching (if necessary)
3. gluing two or more parts
4. trimming the edges to the size of the planned part
5. edging the ends of the part

When choosing the type of stitching, you can see how this or that type of stitching is assembled by clicking on informational tip.

There are 7 types of stitching available. Each species has its own minimum size restrictions.

When installing stitching, you need to set 3 parameters:

  • Type of stitching (required);
  • Material used for hemming (required);
  • Edge for edging the bottom part (not optional on all types of stitching).

Stitching can only be added to a part once. If it is necessary to adjust the stitching, you should delete the existing one and create a new one.

In the stitching settings it is possible to set:
- is texture needed on the material being hemmed?
- width of planks from 70 to 120 mm
- what edge to use to edge the planks?
